Description
The CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME) is an arrangement among Member States of CARICOM for the creation of a single enlarged economic space through the removal of restrictions resulting in the free movement of goods, services, persons, capital and technology. The Free Movement Regime includes the ability of nationals of participating Member States to seek employment throughout the region with a CSME Skills Certificate. It also confers the right to establish a business in any participating CARICOM Member State under the Right of Establishment and the Right to Provide a Service. The implementation of the CSME is a top priority for Trinidad and Tobago and to date, the Single Market component has been implemented in some twelve (12) CARICOM Member States.
